Job Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of the Centre’s facilities and equipment. The echnician conducts regular inspections, performs preventive maintenance, and carries out repair work to uphold the company’s standards of safety, functionality, and presentation.

You will be responsible for performing general repair and maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and furniture-related work, as well as addressing urgent repair requests promptly to minimize operational disruptions. The role also supports the installation, movement, and setup of office furniture, fixtures, and equipment as required.

In addition, as a Technician manages the procurement and inventory of maintenance materials and coordinates with designated service contractors, ensuring that all outsourced repair and maintenance work meets quality and safety expectations.

This position requires a hands-on, proactive individual with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace environment.

Responsibility:

• Contribute to daily operations, by ensuring office equipment and facilities are well maintained across all area of workspaces and provide members & team with a conducive & premium work environment.
• Interact politely and professionally with members, visitors and team; provide assistance when always needed and uphold the company’s service standards.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of office equipment & facilities to ensure optimal performance & lifespan, while addressing urgent repair request and monitoring efficiency with periodic repair schedules.
• Manage your own contributions and deliverables, professionalism and proactivity, learnings and improvements.

Requirement:

• Good command of spoken English/local language, and written is preferred
• Basic literacy & numeracy:  able to interpret manuals, read work orders
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a handyman
• Past experience in workspace provider / commercial building environment where tenants & Members are present

Essential Skill:

• Familiarity with basic tools and safety regulations.

• Ability to work independently on repair tasks and proactively report on progress and any issues.
• Proactive and positive attitude towards work
